The Power of the Holy Spirit
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. John 3:8. The Holy Spirit is so powerful it states in 1Corinthians 2:4 My message and preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
I would like to tell you about what his power has done for me. Back in the year 2000 around the summer, my voice went out. I mean I couldn't mutter a word, I went to the doctor, and they told me, there was nothing they could do for me, and that my voice would never comeback. Me being of good mind and faith refuse to believe that. I said in my mind there maybe nothing you can do, but there is something Jesus can do. So I went home and cried and prayed. Everyday I prayed and tried to talk and even sing, although nothing came out of my mouth, than in about 6 months my voice came back. I know it was the power of the Holy Spirit, alone with believing and receiving the Holy Spirit.
There are many chapters that speaks of the power of the tongue thought out the Whole the Bible, I suggest reading James 3:1-3:18 which is one of my favorite and Mark 3:11 about the true power of prayer and belief. The Holy Spirit is so Majestic, it says in John 9 when ask about the man being born blind. At verse 3 Jesus said "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, " but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. I remember feeling so much despair and I prayed to Jesus and ask him to see the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, believe me when I tell you that the Heavens open up and showed me the Holy City, the New Jerusalem. It was just like the Bible said.
It was like a Jasper with a Heavenly Glow around it, I also saw a new Heaven. The Bible also says to test the every spirit in 1John 4:1. The Holy Spirit is so powerful it says in 1Corinthians 2:10, The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. Jesus is truly a Divine Power.
